This was a retrospective study of 429 eyes (98 phaco-Hydrus (HD), 331 phaco-iStent (IS)) in the overall cohort and 177 eyes (59 phaco-HD, 118 phaco-IS) in the matched cohort over a 48-month period. There was no significant difference in surgical success complication rates between the two groups. Over 40% of eyes maintained the primary success endpoint of >20% intraocular pressure (IOP) decrease and IOP <21mmHg or >1 medication reduction versus baseline without the need for secondary glaucoma surgery.
