As multidisciplinary teams continue to develop and evolve, there is a growing demand for accessible literature in glaucoma.

This handbook gives a useful overview of classification in glaucoma, examination techniques and investigations, treatments and providing a holistic approach to patient care. It also provides information on OCT imaging and newer surgical techniques that may have been missed in some of the older, but more established, guides.

Whilst it may not be suitable for more experienced clinicians or those preparing for some professional examinations, it is structured logically and makes for an easy read and so would be useful for those keen to make progress in their learning quickly.

This isn’t a one-fits-all guide for specific professional groups, but a good resource for any beginner embarking on their early stages of working within a glaucoma clinic.
