The third #AspireOphth Competition is here!

17 May 2024 | Samuel Verdin | #AspireOphth, competition, free book, giveaway, FRCOphth, Part 1, Sohaib Rufai, RCOphth2024, EyeConUK, conference, event, meeting, congress, RCO24

The RCOphth 2024 Annual Congress / #EyeConUK is just around the corner and you know what that means: we’re running another #AspireOphth competition!

Once again Eye News is teaming up with NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Ophthalmology and author, Sohaib R Rufai, for a two-book giveaway! Introducing the third competition in the #AspireOphth series, a short introduction from Sohaib himself:

We are giving away two copies of MCQs FOR FRCOphth PART I (2023), the one-stop study companion for students sitting the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Part 1 examination, published by Oxford University Press. Containing 450 multiple-choice questions, each loaded with solutions, explanations and recommended reading, this high-yield resource is invaluable for any doctor wishing to specialise in the field of ophthalmology.

“Through this book project, I have made it my personal mission to help you pass your FRCOphth Part 1 exam.”

So, how do you enter the competition? The good news is anyone can enter, you just need to make a social post that sums up what you aspire to do, be or achieve in ophthalmology. You can post a picture of yourself, of someone who inspires you, or just paint a picture with words. Make sure you follow Eye News, tag us in your posts and use the hashtag #AspireOphth so we can check your submission, and you’ll have a chance to win!

Two winners will be announced on Wednesday 22 May at the RCOphth Congress in Belfast’s ICC. Both prizes will be signed by the author and either received in person at the event or posted via mail. To find us at the event, come over to 12.

Remember to follow Eye News on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and use the hashtag #AspireOphth in your captions.

Good luck!
