Every day, people in the world’s poorest places become needlessly blind because of conditions that can be easily treated. Worldwide, an incredible 3 out of 4 people who are blind don’t need to be and too often for people living in poverty, losing your sight also means losing the chance to go to school, live independently or earn a living.
Donations help people with sight problems in the world’s poorest places to See the Way to a brighter future. Together, we can help more people access sight-saving surgery, glasses and support so they can go to school, read and write, get around safely and support themselves and their families.
All donations made before 12th May 2020 will be doubled by the UK government meaning we can help twice the number of people See the Way to a brighter future.
