It is obviously always important to properly clean ophthalmic diagnostic devices after each exam. Haag-Streit recommends that the cleaning and disinfection guide contained in the instructions for use is followed for each of its devices.
This small daily cleaning and disinfection routine can have a big impact on both the Clinician and the Patient's health, especially now. The COVID-19 pandemic has dictated an even greater need for eye care professionals to adopt thorough, regular cleaning and disinfection procedures, and these easy-to-follow instructions have been developed to simplify the process and help reduce the spread of the virus.
