NuVisc PRO will provide surgeons, through its specific combination of HA concentration and high molecular weight, a distinct OVD that can be used throughout each of the stages of cataract surgery. The clinical study for NuVisc PRO was completed in December 2019 at the Vienna Institute for Research in Ocular Surgery (VIROS) and demonstrated the safety and efficacy.
Furthermore, NuVisc PRO is ready to use straight from the shelf. Due to ambient storage temperature range, the OVD can be stored permanently at room temperature and therefore does not need to come up to room temperature prior to use.
NuVisc PRO developed for cataract surgery will complement the BVI portfolio which includes Premium Intraocular Lenses, Procedure Packs and Surgical Equipment.
