Guided Binocular Refraction

Chronos is a complete digital refraction solution combining binocular objective autorefraction, keratometry and subjective refraction in a single device. The fully automated system features the SightPilot® guided refraction software, simplifying the exam and permitting delegation to a CA or DO, or the optometrist retains control through Chronos’ standard interface, or indeed, through remote operation. Chronos saves time and space.

The Osiris measures aberrations with a resolution of 45,000 points (at the maximum pupil diameter), with a wide dynamic. Due to the use of a pyramidal sensor, Osiris is able to measure the total wave-front in real time with a frame rate of up to 33 images per second: this enables it to measure and view changes in power and aberrations while the patient is accommodating.
