The first e-poster competition by the Scottish Ophthalmological Club (SOC) is now open for entries.
The SOC Trainee Award (for best Scottish trainee e-poster submission) will be a £250 cash prize, and the winner will present their poster at the virtual SOC meeting on Wednesday 30 September 2020.
There will also be a prize for the best poster by a trainee outisde Scotland, as well as prizes for the best short video submission on the meeting's theme 'my first time', and the best OCT image.
Emma Pead won the first prize last year, she said: "I was delighted to receive the prize for best presentation at the SOC meeting 2019 where I shared my work on drusen detection using AI. It was a brilliant day that allowed me to interact with ophthalmologists preparing me well for my new work on the SCONe project (https://bit.ly/31iTx97)."
