Mainline Instruments welcomes the new appointment of Joe Scott to the Mainline Sales Team as Retinal Product Specialist. We believe that through his experience, Joe has the knowledge and skillset to deliver real value to our customers and staff.
Over the course of the next few weeks, Joe will be working closely with the sales team to familiarise with Mainline’s product range and customers.
Joe commented: “My journey in the ophthalmic industry still feels a bit of a whirlwind. I started training as a diabetic retinal screener/grader in Summer 2020 just as some covid restrictions were being eased. I soon came to love seeing patients and running my own clinics, as well as working on my diploma. I found everything fascinating! I was also lucky enough to be voted onto the British Association of Retinal Screeners (BARS) Council as their first ever student member, a great opportunity to meet people in the industry and attend the yearly conference.
After just over two years in the NHS and qualifying earlier this year, I have been appointed as a Retinal Product Specialist with Mainline Instruments. This is a very exciting opportunity to carry on with all my favourite aspects of working in the industry, as well as continuing to build on my clinical skills and knowledge.
