BVI are excited to announce the launch of the Vitreq® 29 gauge directional spotlight chandelier.
The device facilitates bimanual surgery for vitreoretinal procedures with an integrated directional function and wide-view fibre tip for global endo-illumination. The chandelier is designed for minimally-invasive 29G incision and includes an integrated valved entry-system and scleral marker to aid insertion and fixation of the fibre.
The chandelier was developed in collaboration with Professor Claus Eckardt who said of the device “The Spotlight Directional Chandelier offers an easy and quick insertion in combination with an effective directional control of the light beam.”
