Blink Medical’s Managing Director Roger Tyler and Sales Director Tim Price attended the Orbis UK charity event on 14 September 2021 to mark the launch of their Surgical Fund Appeal at the Royal College of Surgeons in central London. The appeal will provide 17,000 ophthalmic operations to children and adults across Ethiopia, Nepal and Bangladesh. These operations will ensure eye conditions no longer impact education, income, or community.
Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex attended the event, displaying her support as the Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness. The Countess had some great conversations with Roger and Tim, discussing the incredible work that Blink champions with both our single use instruments and Katena’s reusable instruments.
