The global eyecare manufacturer has handed over almost 1,000 bottles of Lacrifresh Ocu-Dry Eye Drops – a product designed to provide prolonged relief of dry eye symptoms.

The donation, worth almost £9,000, will help ease any dry eye symptoms being experienced by healthcare staff.

Avizor UK General Manager Gary Daniels said: “Those working on the frontline to help combat this awful virus are doing an incredible job and it’s vital we all do what we can to protect their health as they strive to protect ours. We wanted to do our bit to allow the heroes of our NHS to focus on saving lives, giving them peace of mind and day-long comfort from dry and irritated eyes.”

The products were donated to staff working on the wards of hospital including Northampton General Hospital and the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
