The NHS Long Term Plan states that research will play a key part in improving the quality of patient care and health outcomes. The various professional regulatory bodies have mandated that registrants demonstrate an understanding of research, ethics and governance in order to apply research findings and inform best practice. Therefore, all staff working in health and social care are required to have an awareness of research as pertains to their practice. This session will explore how staff can incorporate research into their practice to make it business as usual.
