We are delighted to announce that Chris Henson will be joining the Eye News team as editorial coordinator from this week.
Recently graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a Postgrad in Journalism, Chris is looking forward to his new role and to meeting everyone at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Annual Congress in Glasgow. He said: “I’m very excited to join the team and can’t wait to crack on with the job.”
However, we are sorry to say goodbye Diana Spencer, who has worked on the magazine for over 10 years and will be moving on to a new publishing role in March.
Diana has seen a number of developments in the publication over the years, including leading on the Eye News Symposium event, and established many of the popular regular sections that are featured in each issue.
Diana said: “I’ve really enjoyed working on Eye News and seeing how the magazine has changed and modernised over the years. The publication will soon reach its 28th year and it’s been an honour to be a part of such a well-established title in such a brilliant specialty.”
