Sight Sciences last month hosted an InSIGHTful Academy webinar led by Ms. Tasmin Berman, Consultant Ophthalmologist at Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust, bringing together ophthalmic professionals from across the UK and beyond.

Through the webinar, Ms Berman shared expert insights into evolving approaches to glaucoma management, with a focus on developing structured MIGS treatment algorithms. The discussions covered physician mindset underpinning modern glaucoma care, including interventional perspectives and the integration of minimally invasive techniques into clinical practice.
Attendees also examined the patient experience, with discussion centred on challenges surrounding drop adherence, vision-related quality of life, and considerations in surgical decision-making.
The webinar forms part of Sight Sciences’ ongoing InSIGHTful Academy programme, designed to support surgeon education and advance the adoption of MIGS technologies, including the OMNI® Surgical System, in the treatment of open-angle glaucoma.
