Haag Streit UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Doreen Agyeman in the role of Clinical Training Manager.
Doreen will be responsible for leading the HS-UK clinical and surgical training functions. Working alongside the sales and marketing teams, Doreen will manage key events in the Haag-Streit UK calendar and will support both internal and external stakeholders by providing product-related support.
Before joining Haag-Streit UK, Doreen worked within the ophthalmic industry for more than five years. Beginning her career with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, she specialised in a range of courses such as microsurgical skills, glaucoma and cornea. This experience has allowed her to gain extensive clinical knowledge in many areas of ophthalmology and the field of clinical education.
Speaking about her appointment, Doreen said, “I am elated to have the opportunity to work with a world renowned company such as Haag-Streit UK. I look forward to bringing innovation and new ideas to the role, as well as further developing Haag-Streit Academy’s education and training offering.”
