Haag-Streit UK is pleased to celebrate 10 years of providing high quality slit lamp, biometry and perimetry training. In 2014, the Haag-Streit Academy was born, with the launch of the first ‘Improving Outcomes’ biometry course.
Haag-Streit Academy remains committed to advancing ophthalmic knowledge and skills through its educational courses. Since its inception, the Academy have delivered more than 30 courses to around 750 delegates. The CPD-accredited courses offer the opportunity to learn from leading experts, engage in hands-on practical sessions, and stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies and techniques.
Haag-Streit Academy offers live workshops in a dedicated training facility at Haag-Streit HQ in Bishop’s Stortford, as well as at select venues across the UK. For clinical staff who wish to enhance their skills further or for those unable to attend the Academy courses, bespoke, on-site training packages are also available.
The Academy also now offers completely free e-learning courses, with an online portal for users to access training materials whenever they choose, track their progress and receive certification when they complete a course.
This year, the Haag-Streit Academy are offering a Basic & Advanced Slit Lamp Course on 27th & 28th June at Haag-Streit HQ, Bishop’s Stortford and on 14th & 15th November at the Double Tree Hilton, Glasgow. There will also be an ‘Improving Outcomes’ Biometry Course on 25th & 26th April at the Double Tree Hilton, Glasgow and on 26th & 27th September at Haag-Streit HQ, Bishop’s Stortford.
