Haag-Streit Academy are pleased to announce their course schedule for 2025, which features eight slit lamp and biometry courses in prime locations across the UK. The courses offer attendees the vital skills and knowledge to utilise their slit lamp and biometry equipment effectively.
Expert speakers and Haag-Streit UK Product Managers will present informative lectures, which are followed by hands-on workshops with Haag-Streit equipment; an aspect of the courses that always proves popular. The workshops give attendees the opportunity to hone their slit lamp or biometry skills in a relaxed and supported environment, with Product Managers on hand to provide assistance and answer questions.
Guest speaker and Consultant Ophthalmologist Sunil Mamtora will present lectures at the slit lamp courses, while Consultant Optometrist, David Sculfor and Consultant Ophthalmologist, Peter Wilson will present lectures at the biometry courses. The courses have been approved by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and all attendees receive CPD points.
The 2025 schedule is as follows:
- 13th & 14th March 2025 – Slit Lamp Basic and Advanced Skills Courses – Radisson Blu Hotel, Leeds City Centre.
- 17th & 18th June 2025 – Slit Lamp Basic and Advanced Skills Courses – The Studio, Birmingham City Centre.
- 19th & 20th June 2025 – ‘Improving Outcomes’ Biometry Course – Measurement Essentials and Improving Outcomes Biometry Course – Clinical Decisions & Management – The Studio, Birmingham City Centre.
- 2nd & 3rd October 2025 – Slit Lamp Basic and Advanced Skills Course – Haag-Streit Academy HQ, Bishop’s Stortford.
