Sense Medical Ltd welcomes the new appointment of Darren Hargreaves as Clinical Solutions Director.
With over 28 years’ experience, Darren has extensive knowledge of the ophthalmic industry, working previously in the NHS environment as Deputy Head of Imaging at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and most recently with Carl ZEISS Ltd as Clinical Application Specialist for Imaging.
Darren comments, “In my new role at Sense Medical / Canon Eyecare, I aim to show the UK market the importance and new advantages of Widefield OCT and OCTA from Canon. Canon has brought to the Ophthalmology world, the first commercially available swept source OCT with the Xephilio OCT-S1, that incorporates a single scan capture of 23mm and OCTA single capture of 23mm x 20mm, combined with AI and deep learning. Canon are the future of OCT Imaging, and I am proud to be at the forefront of that revolution.”
