Date: 5 June 2020

Time: 09:00

Location name: WEBINAR

Invitation

Please join us for a day of online sessions celebrating international partnerships in eye health.

We will focus on the successes of the LINKS Programme, part of the VISION 2020 initiative. The VISION 2020 LINKS Programme was launched in 2004, linking eye health institutions in the UK with overseas eye centres. The Programme is designed to build the skills and capacity of local partner eye institutions, and we have experienced some wonderful successes and collaborations as a result of LINKS.

We have chosen the date 6/6.2020 as a milestone due to the significance for eye health: good visual acuity can be described as 6/6 (m) or 20/20 (ft), so June 6th provides us with an opportunity to celebrate eye health. Please note that the webinar itself will be on Friday, 5th June.

Our hosts are The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth), The College of Ophthalmology of Eastern Central and Southern Africa (COECSA) and the International Centre for Eye Health (ICEH).

The day will be split into four sessions, covering different areas of partnership success, and includes time for networking and questions:
