UKISCRS are so pleased to bring the 47th Annual Congress to London in 2023.
It is always joyful to see our colleagues, friends and peers and this year we will be doing that in London. We are creating a new-style interactive, discussion-based scientific environment along with our specialist industry partners who are able to display and demonstrate changes to medical devices, pharma and R&D.
Our programme this year is full of innovational education. The President’s Plenary symposium ’Multifocal v Edof v Monovision’ will be presented by our Hellenic counterparts from the Greek Society of cataract and refractive surgery. We also have a new symposia entitled: Innovations in Industry presented by Consultant Ophthalmologists who have a special project underway.
The inaugural Ridley Medal Lecture will be presented by: Prof. John Marshall
We have two Lifetime Achievement Awards from: Mr Paul Rosen & Prof. Dan Reinstein
The Young Ophthalmologist Programme (YOP) includes a Thea Dry Lab and didactic teaching & free-papers
The UKISOP present a day of interactivity for our professions allied to Ophthalmology
The main programme also includes:
- The future provision of cataract surgery in the UK
- My worst corneal case of the year
- Wobbly lenses, aphakia, lens fixation
- The Expert Video Session
The Congress Masquerade Dinner, Cash prizes and an EyeSi competition add to the friendly nature of the UKISCRS Congress.
