In 2019, the Heidelberg Engineering 'whole eye' image went viral on social media. It offered a 360° interpretation of the eye comprised of anterior segment OCT images taken using the ANTERION and posterior segment OCT images taken using the SPECTRALIS. Heidelberg Engineering Limited is now offering a unique opportunity to have OCT scans of your own eye turned into beautiful artwork at 100% Optical between 24-26 February 2024.

“The Whole Eye OCT Experience starts at stand B110, where Heidelberg Engineering imaging experts will capture the necessary OCT images using the SPECTRALIS and ANTERION platforms”, explains Tosh Vadhia, Director, Heidelberg Engineering UK. “Participants will learn about how the images are captured and be able to see the individual images that will make up their artwork following the exam. Next, our resident artist, Tim Cole (Clinical Affairs Manager), will turn those images into a whole eye artwork, which the owner can display with pride at their home or clinic.”

The Whole Eye OCT Experience is being delivered in association with The Partially Sighted Society: a charity that helps anybody living with vision loss make the best use of their remaining vision. In return for their artwork, Heidelberg Engineering only asks for a donation to The Partially Sighted Society.

It is best to book the Whole Eye OCT Experience online to guarantee a place, though there will also be an extremely limited number of walk-in slots available during the show. Book your place here: www.HeidelbergEngineering.co.uk/100optical
