Father’s Day is fast approaching (June 18th), and it can be a struggle to find the perfect present. Fear not – leading eyecare charity Orbis are teaming up with coffee supplier Espresso Solutions for a special social media competition on Instagram. Upon entering the competition, Instagram users could win a top-of-the-line coffee machine, shipped in time for Father’s Day.

To enter, social media users are being asked to like the post on Instagram, tag three coffee-loving friends in the comments, follow @Orbis_uk and join their sight-saving mission. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 13 June 2023 over on their Instagram channel.



Globally, 1.1 billion people live with vision loss. Yet 90% of this is avoidable. Orbis’s mission is to eliminate avoidable blindness by ensuring everyone, from fathers to sons, mothers to daughters, have access to quality eye care.

To commemorate their 10-year anniversary in 2022, Espresso Solutions raised an incredible £10,000 for Orbis, supporting Orbis’s work to help protect people in the Sidama region of Ethiopia, a leading producer of speciality coffee, from blinding trachoma - an infectious eye disease and one of the leading causes of blindness globally.
