Cataract Advanced Training with Simulation (CATS)

This course focuses on advanced cataract surgery skills including the management of posterior capsule rupture, zonular weakness, small pupils, and secondary and toric IOL implantation. The course programme is designed to deliver an immersive hands-on experience using high-fidelity simulation technology to increase confidence in complication management. CATS is aimed at senior trainees (ST5 – ST7) or trainees who have completed at least 250-300 cases as primary surgeon, Fellows, and Consultants.
